Revolutions Per Minute

October 2, 2015-------------------------------------------------------------

This is fire. But it's not radio friendly, so it's probably not your cup o'tea. But who knew that the foul mouthed music reviewer Big Ghost could also craft in the lab too? Tag teaming with Westside Gunn and Conway this is, GRISELDA GHOST.

Holy Crap!

Teresa Jenee is coming to town!
If you don't know who that is, take a trip HERE.

I know it's short notice, but I implore you to come on out to Bohemian Caverns (over off of U St. NW) on April 10th at 8PM to see...rather, experience a musical treat, for only $10.

That tasty little musical oasis playing through your speakers right now (unless you paused it earlier) is a couple tracks off of her sophomore offering, Electric Yellow -which btw, last I checked was free- if it isn't anymore, come to the show and get it from her yourself.

I guarantee you won't be upset. Bring a boo thang to cuddle with.

If my little amateur write-up earlier didn't convince you why you should come on out, then maybe some other opinions I snatched off the internet will.

"You know the feeling you get when you hear music that instantly pulls you in and blows you away – eargasm us [is] the best way to describe it. Two artists give me that feeling – Teresa Jenee and Janelle Monae."   -  +Entelleckt
(http://www.neoclef.com/album-teresajenee-turns-your-world-electric-yellow/)

"The young lady just has IT.  She’s like some sort of amalgamation of what all modern day artists R+B SHOULD be in the eyes of soul music snob..." - @soulcialista
(http://www.thesoulcialista.com/2012/08/sound-check-teresa-jenee-electric-yellow.html)

"All in all, Teresa Jenee is someone who needs to be on your radar: an artist with a fully fleshed out sound that is quite compelling and different." - Norman Mayers, Nu-Soul Magazine
(http://blog.nu-soulmag.com/?p=2794)

...if those did nothing for you, you can pause the music below and fall in love with Autumn in NYC with her in the music video, Ode to October (from Electric Yellow)
So clear your plans. Meet me at Bohemeian Caverns. 2001 11th St NW, Washington, DC 20001. Walking distance from the U Street Metro.

Love her online.

This. is Robin Thicke's (I'm sure to soon be banned or controversial) new video and single, Blurred Lines.

There are two versions of it. Here's the safe one:

The unrated one however, I'm not going to post- because I'm POSITIVE by the time I hit publish, the pussies over at YouTube will have yanked it. So what I will do is post the source link. Go watch it HERE. Although, I must tell you- the video is hilarious either way. So in other words, you don't need to go watch the unrated one. Unless you want to see tits. Lots of tits.

Hilarious because of the ridiculous dancing, the obvious blurring of objectified gender roles, the girl in the mask of her face in a mask, the message in helium balloons, the random goat, the faces made during the dances, and T.I. just having the time of his life- including catching the holy ghost.

Don't even get me started with the clowning of social media. I'm sorry, I forgot- #THICKE, right?

Well played, Robin. Well played.

I really don't know what ya'll are talking about with these "Justin Timberlake's new album is a classic" nonsense. Ya'll just constantly throw that 'classic' term out there like conjunctions and yawns and shit. This is the most honest review I've read of it.
